Here are the images of a public commission I have been working on
in collaboration with Con Kiernan of Waikino and
Rowena Rooney of Te Atatu.
Consisting of 3 units of 4 panels of 800 x 160 mm each
they have been installed in the playground of
St Thomas primary school Kohimarama.
This first unit of 4 panels was supplied by Rowena and has a Pacifica theme.
This second unit of 4 panels was supplied by me, although Con supplied the lettering. This unit has a new Zealand/Australia theme
The final unit of 4 panels was supplied by Con, although some elements such as the 2 native birds and the Auckland City skyline were supplied by me. Con has kindly moved the Beehive from Wellington to Auckland...
